Our initial product offerings focused on biomedical research and animal diagnostics labs. Applications of ABI Telomerase detection kit and protein microarrays will also be offered to life sciences and human clinical researchers on a service basis and/or with ready-to-use protein array kits. Target diseases will include inflammation, respiratory diseases, cardiovascular diseases and cancers. Through time, ABI will expand its microarrays to other protein families of interest and offer a stand-alone proteomic analysis station (protein array, array processor and detection device). ABI s clinical development efforts will use these protein microarrays as the basis for a new generation of human and animal diagnostics. Through the discovery of the complex patterns of protein expression associated with health and disease, ABI will also help drive a new approach to clinical medicine.
